職場(chǎng)英語之接待宴會(huì)用語
在工作中，經(jīng)常需要接觸到外賓或者一些宴會(huì)，那么當(dāng)老板需要你用英語接待或者作為主持人的'時(shí)候，我們?cè)撟⒁饽男﹩栴}呢?有什么制勝法寶可以體現(xiàn)出自己的英語水平而不失顏面呢?
(1) “ Mr, Mis, Mrs, Ms“ 這些怎么用?
Mr, Miss分別是“先生“和”女士“
Mrs 是用來稱呼已婚女性，后面加夫姓
Ms 是不分已婚未婚，而且不加夫姓。在你不清楚對(duì)方婚姻狀況下可以優(yōu)先考慮這個(gè)
(2)所有領(lǐng)導(dǎo)都會(huì)說的話：“這是一次……的會(huì)議“
可以用的句型：this meeting is one of ……
而不是：this is a……meeting (因?yàn)檫@樣不符合英語語言結(jié)構(gòu))
(3)表示副職頭銜中的“副”應(yīng)該怎么表達(dá)?
Vice, associate, assistant, deputy
e.g. vice president 副總統(tǒng)、associate professor副教授、deputy general manager副總經(jīng)理
頭銜除了有“正”、“副”以外，還有“助理”，在英語中可以用assistant一詞。
e.g. assistant engineer助理工程師、assistant editor助理編輯
(4)”有朋自遠(yuǎn)方來，不亦說乎“怎么說?
There is a saying of Confucius that it is a great pleasure to welcome visitors from afar.
(5)如何表示歡迎?
1. I would like to extend our warmest welcome to all of you who have traveled from far and wide.
熱忱歡迎遠(yuǎn)道而來的朋友
2.Now please allow me, on behalf of all the members of our company, to express our warm welcome to you for your visit to our company.
現(xiàn)在請(qǐng)?jiān)试S我代表公司所有成員，對(duì)你們的來訪表示熱烈的歡迎。
(6)“為……干杯“你只會(huì)說cheers?
你大可以換換其他句型：
To……，Gan Bei!
Now，I should like to propose a toast to……
Please allow me to propose a toast to ……
May I ask you to join me in a toast to……
With the wine of the host, I request you all to raise your glasses and drink to……
