　　M: Morning, Lucy. Here I am.

　　Lucy，早上好。我到了。

　　L: Hi, Monica, how are you doing today?

　　Monica，你好，你今天覺(jué)得怎樣?

　　M: Can’t be better! Thank you.

　　再好不過(guò)了!謝謝你。

　　L: Your supervisor, Mr. White was out on a business trip. Lets me first introduce you to your colleague, Francis, he is in the next door.

　　你的上司，懷特先生去外面出差了。首先讓我把你介紹給同事們。Francis，他在你隔壁。

　　M: Ok.

　　好的。

　　L: Good morning, Francis, please allow me to introduce Monica to you. She is new in finance department.

　　F: Hello, Monica. Nice to meet you!

　　Monica，你好。很高心認(rèn)識(shí)你!

　　M: Nice to meet you too, Francis.

　　L: Monica, Francis will talk with you about your job.

　　Monica，F(xiàn)rancis會(huì)跟你說(shuō)說(shuō)工作的'事。

　　知識(shí)點(diǎn)講解：

　　1.L: Hi, Monica, how are you doing today?

　　早，Monica，今天感覺(jué)怎樣?

　　How are you doing?

　　你好嗎?

　　英語(yǔ)中常見(jiàn)的打招呼用語(yǔ)，如：

　　-How are you doing?

　　-I'm doing good.

　　Doing在這里不是“做什么”的意思，good 這個(gè)形容詞也被當(dāng)作副詞用，美國(guó)人平常就這么說(shuō)，相當(dāng)于熟人見(jiàn)面時(shí)說(shuō)：“你怎么樣?”“挺好的。”

　　類似的問(wèn)好方式還有：

　　-How's everything going?

　　-Howdy!

　　-What's up?

　　幾句話都相當(dāng)于“你怎么樣?”“你好嗎?”但如果細(xì)究，第一句似問(wèn)對(duì)方最近一切是否順利;第二句據(jù)說(shuō)是從How do ye?這句19世紀(jì)初的問(wèn)候語(yǔ)簡(jiǎn)化而來(lái);而第三句則側(cè)重問(wèn)對(duì)方那里有沒(méi)有新聞，但實(shí)際就是打招呼。

　　你的上司，懷特先生出差去了。

　　supervisor 主管人，導(dǎo)師

　　如：The supervisor always start his new employee on the lobster shift.

　　領(lǐng)導(dǎo)總是讓剛開(kāi)始工作的新職員值夜班。

　　As her immediate supervisor for the last two years, I can state that she is a very good secretary.

　　作為她二年來(lái)的直接領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，我可以說(shuō)她是一位優(yōu)秀的秘書(shū)。
